Based off Conway's Game of Life
- Vertical movement corresponds to diatonic movement up/down four degrees.
- Horizontal movement corresponds to diatonic movement up/down one degree.
- Tones are restricted to four octaves, and repeat periodically.
- Only newborn cells sound.
Every beat, each cell has a 1/16 chance of undergoing a change according to the rules of the Game of Life:
- A live cell with fewer than two live neighbors dies.
- A live cell with two or three live neighbors survives.
- A live cell with more than three live neighbors dies.
- An empty cell with exactly three live neighbors becomes alive.
